About her
Clare de Guzman Amador, 27, Pilipino.
Worked in the government, the private sector, and in the development field. Went through Development Studies, Cultural Heritage, New Public Management, and Responsible Tourism. Works under three bosses she believes in – two would be great Philippine presidents and one has shown great talent in carpentry.
Has been able to plant and harvest rice, harvest monggo, do typhoon relief operations, swim in a river, and try fishing (and falling into a pond full of ducks). Lives in the city and loves Manila. Sees tourism as a tool for education, positive transformation, and social change. Hence, she founded YTRIP.
Has a dog named Chicken, a laptop named Chuck, and a camera named J.
Has a fling with Europe but is committed to the Philippines.
This is her life.
